Born and raised in Miami, FL, DJ/Producer Alej Varez (a.k.a Alex Alvarez) grew up on the 80’s Miami sound – Disco, Hi Energy, and Freestyle.Growing up his attention was always focused on music, especially Electronic Dance Music. In 2000 he audition for the band 5th Vision managed and produced by Joe Granda of Angel Eyes Music and began his musical career.
